Since the early days of Islam, Masajid have been cherished holy spaces facilitating worship, learning and community building. The Prophet’sﷺ mosque in Madinah– Masjid Quba– was the first built by him when he migrated from Makkah to Yathrib. This was a significant event in Islam, and Muslims consider it the start of the Islamic calendar.
To build a Masjid is a sacred act of sadaqah in Islam; it is a spiritual sanctuary and the heart of any thriving Muslim community. Since the early days of Islam, Masajid have been cherished holy spaces facilitating worship, learning, and community building.

Yet, for many Muslims, access to a communal place of worship is still a distant dream. As we strive to uplift our Ummah by implementing Masajid construction in underserved areas, Insha’Allah, we can help Muslims fulfil the Sunnah of congregational prayer.
The Prophet Muhammadﷺ said
"Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.”

A Masjid is no ordinary house, but a house of Allahﷻ. It is where we worship our Creator and nurture our Emaan. Especially in rural villages, they foster change and symbolise hope. They are a chance for communities to rejoice for the sake of Allahﷻ. These communities can use the mosque as a central hub for activities such as our five daily Salahs, learning and teaching the Qur’an, educational programmes, and even people taking their Shahada.
The reward for building a mosque is eternal, one of the greatest forms of Sadaqah Jariyah. For every prayer, every Qur’an recitation, Allahﷻ will reward you in Jannah.
The Prophet Muhammadﷺ said
"When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him.”

The Ajr (spiritual benefits) of building a Masjid is multiplied greatly during Ramadan. By giving charity in this holy month, we can earn Allah’sﷻ infinite mercy and endless Hasanat. Let’s take advantage of His increased devotion and compassion.
By the grace of Allahﷻ and your support, we have undertaken hundreds of Masajid projects over the years. Last year, your generosity constructed 42 Masajid, providing over 13,000 beneficiaries with a safe place of worship.
Our supporters have placed their Amanah in One Ummah, and our 100% donation policy guarantees that every penny donated is solely dedicated to the chosen cause/project. For example, when you donate towards the construction of a Masjid, your donation will only go towards the delivery, construction, labour, contractors, and materials required to build that Masjid. We will never use your funds for administrative expenses, marketing efforts, or to generate additional funds.
We are immensely grateful for the platform we have to provide emergency aid and empowerment projects on a large scale. Thanks to your help, we can positively impact the lives of those in need, Alhamdulillah.
Allahﷻ says in the Qur’an,
"Ramadan is the month of giving and mercy, and in it, Allah blesses the believers with forgiveness and being saved from Hellfire. Therefore, whoever is merciful and giving in Ramadan, Allah will be even more Merciful and Giving and will bestow upon him countless bounties and blessings.”
Qur’an (2:215)
